Find great deals for Line 6 POD 2.0 Multi-Effects Guitar Effect Pedal. And read the instruction manuals pays off handsomely - there's a LOT of functionality built. Hi all - just joined. Got my Tele (Squier Standard). Five out of the seven wonders are in fact Greek architectural and artistic accomplishments, which did not go unnoticed by Hellenic writers. The only surviving wonder, the Great Pyramid of Giza. Only the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Mesopotamian Hanging Gardens of Babylon were non-Greek. 7 wonders ancient world worksheet. Gathered a few things to play it through - a few pedals and a POD 2.0 (it's showing the V2.3 upgrade). I'd be very grateful for help getting a tele specific clean, crunch and lead sound that I can dial in manually (or rockabilly or whatever you have to get me going). Got 'Fretboard Roadmaps' and going to start learning a few tele suitable songs and twiddley bits. Thought I'd try the POD first - seemed the easiest option. I can dial up and store a sound but had no luck getting the Line 6 Edit software working - some Java environment thing (?) Can anyone post some manual settings I can dial in? Want to get started working towards my yellow belt in Twang Fu. Still thanks for trying. ![]() ![]() In case anyone else is scanning this thread for help - I've tried it on two duo core PCs: Desktop with Vista Home Premium SP2 Laptop with Window XP Home SP3 Also tried the suggestions on the Line 6 Forum (this is July 2010 in case you are looking back - may be new suggestions by now) - most relating to Java environments - I got as far as having the software install (line 6 edit & Java environment) but getting an error when launching line 6 edit. Did the right click 'install as administrator' in Vista and said yes to everything it wanted to be allowed to do. Fraser - I'll plug into the POD and mess about with the dials. It'll do as an amp sim (I've monitors but no guitar combo). Maybe I'll try and track down a copy of the POD Settings Bible. Plan B is using the effects pedals I've been accumulating in preparation for the start of my twang-god quest. Got the open string chord shapes working, I can barre without buzzing, I can play a simple scale using down and up picking - I've gotta be good to go as I've heard them say on your side of the pond - though maybe they don't say 'good to go' in Canada - maybe that's just US sitcoms and movies. Im currently running line 6 edit on a dual core intel- xp pro sp3 do you have the manual with the pod? Its really helpful to know wich models are what- like which amps and cabs are modelled. I like the tweed blues(bassman), small tweed(champ) and the black panel(deluxe) for twangy type things, or anything really. I muck about with different cabs, depending on what i want- much of it depends on the guitar im using- and then i tweak the eq and amount of drive, add reverb etc. How about this- select the black panel amp- and a 1x12 blackface deluxe cab drive at around 10 oclock add some compressor- very lightly- like 1:4:1 ratio some spring reverb then tweak your eq to suit your guitar. There are some really great tones in there, but i found it took ages for me to find them. I never have touched the dials on my pod and always use the line 6 edit to set things up- if you can find a solution, its the way to go for sure. Say- do you have the midi cables connected to your pc? Just to eliminate the obvious- some folks here do say 'good to go'- but maybe thats because i live very close to the u.s lol- most of my family is in scotland, some of my best friends growing up were from belfast. ![]() First wife was from glasgow, second was from southampton. So it all makes sense to me.
